I was asked by my best friend to cover a cleaning shift for her as she was feeling really unwell. She had taken on some work as a self employed cleaner for a national cleaning agency - which had no regard  for her or her customers.  She was treated very poorly by them, but she had built up a strong empathy with some of the elderly customers she cleaned for and she didnt want to let them down.  

So I stood in for her, a domestic house clean for a lovely lady in Attleborough, Norfolk.  Having chatted to her, over a cup of tea, on a welcome break - I could clearly see an opportunity.

The lady told me that time after time she had been let down by cleaning companies promising the world but delivering very little.  Infact, before my friend cleaned for her she had previously been promised a replacement cleaner for over three months. The current agency had really messed her about, had overcharged her, had repeatedly lied to her and  finally had ghosted her on all communications when she asked as to what was happening ! Had it not of been for my friend who had recently started to clean for her on a regular basis  she would have cancelled their services altogether.  The lady felt completely let down.
